Hi and thanks to everyone who responded to my post of 2/19 with advice,
interest, and condolences.  I've been lurking around here since then,
following some of the threads, and this seems like a fine group of people.
Makes me want to hold on to my Vanagon!  I'm sure I'll end up selling it,
though.   The KBB value is in the neighborhood of $17,000, but people have
told me, "throw the blue book away with that one."   Anyway, thanks for your
responses, and I'm mulling over what exactly I want to do right now.  I'll
keep lurking!  BTW, I'm in the Hampton Roads area, SE part of the state.
I'm gonna try to answer some of the especially thoughtful responses I got.
Any more advice?  I'm open to suggestions.
