I installed a tranny I've had laying around for a while the other weekend. As I recall, it shifted well when I pulled it, but I'm not quite happy with how it feels when shifting into second gear. It feels as if it is just barely catching second gear. I have fiddled with linkage adjustment a bit, and am wondering if I'm up against an internal adjustment. My question is: is there an internal adjustment which would limit the range of movement in the first to second throw? Fourth seems fine, BTW. Thanks, Karl Wolz |
