eric, it is. The tiico kit is a converson that is APPROVED by VWofSA, but not a VW kit. It was assambled my RemTronic in SA. That would explain things why the front of the engine mounts have a 1" spacer tacked on (as opposed to bent to fit the first time??) and why the air intake is not VW but some other brand w/ no vw markings on it. Also, the wiring harness is tape wound as opposed to in tubes like other VW's i've seen. And the injectors are incorrect... should be an a2 fuel rail... ANd the throttle cable is too long by 2".... and on and on and on....
