And on a related topic, I have two of these radios. They work great but the backlight for the digital frequency readout is burned out. I have a penlight in the ashtray that I use when I need to know what station I am listening to, but its a pain.

Any thoughts? When I took the radio apart, replacing the bulbs seemed to be next to impossible. They were tiny and were soldered on a flimsy-looking board.
