I'm pretty sure it is. Obviously, with all of the replies I'm receiving, the problem must lie in the cable. I guess that is "good" news-in terms of expenses. I'm going to look into pulling the cable. I'm guessing this is done from the hub end? This clicking sound has been prevalent for over a year now. So, I don't believe the cable is failing, or it would have done so by now. My speed is accurate (-enough). So there must be something rubbing on or in the cable or the speedo interface. Thanks for the input! I'll look into it. b

Did you check the back of the speedo to see that the cable is all the way in and securely connected?
