I was trying to get my 82 Westy inspected yesterday and the technican says the left inner tie rod needed replacing (the boot was ripped and the outter tie rod boot was cracked too) so they failed the van. I would like to replace the whole unit (tie rod, rod, and outer tie rod). A local auto parts store has the outer tie rod yet says they can't get the inner. Any suggestions?
