I feel that i can answer this question, for i have seen both side by side, installed both, etc. MY EXPERIENCES ARE WITH STOCK VANAGON MOTORS.

"Work" is the key work....sure they will "work" if the definition of that means squirting fuel into the cylinder head. Now, if you are concerned about proper spray patterns and a nice seal to the intake manifold, then they do not"work".

The Bosch injectors have a nozzle about a half inch or so long......part of which an injector seal goes on. The sorensons only have about a quarter inch, and a seal still needs to go on as well. I have acrually had an intake runner off in my garage and installed the two injectors to see if there truly was a difference. The Bosch injetor came flush with the inside of the intake runner when installed. The sorenson was up inside the intake runner about a 1/4". Now if you watch the spray pattern on the two you will see they are similar, cone-shaped. From viewing the pattern, I could conclude that the Sorenson injectors would not srpay diffectly into the head. Some fuel would, but a lot would drip in after hitting the injector runner. One can also feel how much more solid the Bosch installed injector is when compared to the Sorenson...the Sorenson's are BARELY in the runner at all.

Now, Phil is putting these in a TIICO..............a friend of mine, (and fellow listee) did a TIICO conversion last summer and used the Sorenson's without a hitch........it is a completely DIFFERENT fuel setup than the stock motored vanagon.
