Subject: Just installed BusDepot mudflaps - a FYI
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"

just finally got around to installing the set of mudflaps i got from Busdepot that ron gets from Just Kampers theyre the SA mudflaps i believe.. they look great, but here is a word of advice for those installing them on vanagons with fiberglass bumpers... they are designed to fit on vanagons with the metal bumpers..

i had to take a dremel and trim off the rubber section that wraps around the wheel well lip to get them to fit on my van (i have the fiberglass bumpers and trim) it wasnt hard to do, but you must do it to get them to fit the fiberglass bumpered vans... also i could not get the hardware that was provided with them to work right, so i ended up just drilling and screwing them to the wheel well lips with stainless sheetmetal screws which i painted black. (i removed all 4 wheels to do this, one at a time) all in all it looks pretty good and im pleased.. alot less expensive than the stock westfalia style VAG style mudflaps..

chris
