Curious....

How many Vanagons were produced, imported and purchased in the USA as compared to air-cooled vans...

My crude guess would be 10 times the amount...

ans that would explain the numbers that you are seeing.

But anyway, there is this guy on the list, and/or eBay, selling his 1987 Vanagon for $18,000. granted, he may well have a brain that is so fried on crack, that numbers no longer have any realistic meaning... but if you can really get an '87 Vanagon in good shape for 600 beans, and can then spend a hundred to ship it up north........ you would make 100% on your investment... easily.

But this is not the point here... the point was, that Eurovans SUCK, regardless of other vehicles... and they do... and we closed this topic... right?
