"Why not go to a newer Eurovan rather than creating a bastard vehicle that only a Vanagon Extremist would own. I've met a lot of Eurovan owners in campogrounds that are retired folks and they buy their vans with extended warranties and are free to go wherever they want. They all seem contented with power steering, power windows, Air conditioning, power lift Pop-top, roll out side canopy"

HEY! Theres a reason why the Vanagon is still being made in South Africa. Its so you can safely out run lions tigers and elephants. No really, Africa has some of the worst road conditions in the world, and do you think any mini-vans could take on these conditions? Ha HA HA. So I dont think they dont sell many Eurovans in Africa and it must be becouse a Eurovan is built like a Mini-van and would not last in AFRICA IMO Plus Africa is very poor and most folks there need a family transporter thats not going to break down under extreme conditions like a Mini-van "with power steering, power windows, Air conditioning, power lift Pop-top"-All this crap is designed to break so you have to go to the VW dealer and buy thier proprietary parts for hundreds of dollars
