When I drive to work (back when I had a job) and its dark in the morning, but its light when I get there, I have been known to leave the headlights on, and when I go out to lunch, or at the end of the day, no problems because the van already turned its headlights off for me. When I do that with my car, you can see me pushing the thing down the lot trying to jump start it <g>

I think its a great feature, and should have been copied by other auto makers. Its up there with the "have to use the key to lock the door" as far as good thinking goes.

On an aside, with the new fancy cars that turn the lights off after a timeout, I never tell anyone that they left their lights on anymore because if its one that does it automatically, I get a snotty reply, so those of you with 'regular' headlight controls will just have to remember yourself, because I am not gonna say anything anymore.

Regards from Utah,

John
