Hi,

While we're on the subject of POR-15, has anyone tried the exhaust coating? Hi-Temp version of POR-15, grey, silver or black, supposedly good to 1400 Deg.F.... I just spent a wad on a new exhaust for my Syncro, and I'd like to keep it looking good. I'm thinking; light sanding where it has already rusted, pre-treatment, POR-15, then a Header Wrap on the pipes.... to keep the sun off ( hey, in a Syncro, you never know when you'll be upside down:) Mostly cosmetic, when I took the old pipes out, looking at them you'd think they would snap off in your hand, the rust was so thick, but they turned out to be suprisingly robust, just the connections were shot. I killed 2 Sawzall blades getting thru them by the head flanges.
