I keep a small 3"x 4" ledger book with my maintenance records. I just leave it in the Westy all the time and update it when I install new parts or make adjustments. I keep both the repair description and the part numbers required to make the repair. I have a list of VW parts vendors and their 800 numbers in the front cover just in case I might need them. All of the other stuff like parts receipts, UPS bills etc. I keep in just a regular file folder in my desk. You'd be surprised how much you forget about maintenance that you've done after owning a Westy for seven years.
