In all seriousness I considered getting one of those self-contained potties but I wanted a seat/console between the two up front. The potty convertible feature was an afterthought because I did not want two boxes. One for the seat/console and another for the port-a-potty. I was planning to build a box around the store bought port-a-potty and take out the jump seat when camping, putting the port-a-potty box in its spot with a padded seat.

With my narrower seat/console (and potty throne) I can move it to the jump seat location to use as a seat (or potty) and not have two boxes cluttering up the van and using space needlessly.

William
