Jon, the only similarity I do know for both Digifant systems is that they are VW in-house desgned and share a lot of components, like sensors and such, but not the ECUs. The only magazine that I know that mentions any tweaks for this system is European Car, and I know of oly one company that has a chip for the Digifant Jetta/Golf, and that I would have to look up. I own one, and I can te you that it respomds well to the modified air box with K&N filter, hi-flow cat and exhaust, and a 260 degrees cam with adjustable sproket. These engines "wake-up" at over 3k RPM, so they are great highway cruisers, but not the greatest onlow end acceleration, but there's where the cam and sproket do their magic...

Hector
