I would suggest joining and posting to the Syncro list at http://groups.yahoo.com Search for Syncro and then sign up for membership - great group.

The rear diff lock problem could be caused by a myriad of problems - some easy (busted vacuum line) some difficult (internal parts). There are a lot of VERY knowledgeable Syncro people on the Syncro list.

Oh, and it is spelled S-Y-N-C-R-O :-)
