I personally like the Geiger counter best... as it is most definately the
most practical gauge-meter that one can have nowadays.
I have added additional gauges in my 1987 GL, which I can highly recommend
to you, and all others on the list:
Individual driver and passenger, Bladder Level Indicator Gauges (so I can
tell precisely when I will need to pull over for someone to take a leak)
Internet Enabled Current Running Bank Account Balance (so I know if I can
afford to buy any gasoline or Doritoes when we stop for a leak)
I have a few others installed, but they are not really for everyday travel
situations.
