---OK, Thanks for all the responses to this, but everyone is pointing me to the radiator bleeder on the top passenger side of the front radiator. So the question remains: is there a thermostat bypass valve (a way to open the thermostat manually, with the engine cold)?? I know about the radiator bleeder already mentioned, and the bleeder on TOP of the thermostat, which seems to function the same as the front bleeder, i.e. open a little, watch until clear stream of coolant comes out.
