Hi Phil, this van should have more like 130-140!!! This is not very difficult; The only other possibility is a carbon built up but normally if there is an increase amount of carbon is in the combustion chamber it is accompanied by the same problem on the exhaust valve seat, in other words; that mean that the valve are not closing perfectly so compression is low or normal. I don't see any easy solution as to lower the compression, how are the Spark plug, Oily? Wet? Carbon on it? That can tell you a lot, if all 4 plugs are the same you have a strange problem.
