Dear Westy owners. I looked on vanagon.com and found the height of the camper to be 82" (no synchro here) That does not specify what tires are on the vehicle. Probably it is whatever was standard, but I don't know what that is. I am wondering if a Westy will fit in my garage, and its awfully close as the opening is 83 inches, so the tire size will certainly make or break it. Have any of you ever actually measured the height of your Westy, and if so, what tires do you have, and what is the height? Does it fit in your garage? Do you suppose an old air cooled would be sagging enough by now to fit? :-) Is there a difference between the older water cooled and the waterboxers height? Thanks for the BW. John |
