My recollection is that vanagon syncro westies in the late 80's in Honolulu
(which granted is more expensive than the mainland) were around $30K. I
think I paid about $17,500 or $18,000 for my 88 Wolfie GL (not a westy).
Does that sound about right? Like maybe $3K or so more than the mainland
prices at that time?
