I've been a list member, off and on, for several years. This doesn't buy me
anything except a place at the table to swap Vanagon lore and an occasional
Friday Funny. If the list members continue to avoid our 'primary purpose'
and rant and rave about something that none of us is fully cognizant, if
they want a forum, to spew their politics, I would suggest that they take it
to a more appropriate and appreciated list.
Whether I agree or disagree, with their views, is not the point - Reminds me
of Bar brawlers - as long as they can disrupt others in a bar - they
continue to rant and rave - but when the bartender says 'take it outside'
they fold their tents and slink away..
If this sort of thing is to continue - I will not, in good conscience, be a
part of this list. I have many things much more productive and enjoyable to
occupy my time. Anyone that has any input or rebuttal, please keep it off
the list and pmail me. I do enjoy an intellectual interchange - only
caveat - civility is a must.
