Been following this thread and laughing my ass of. I don't care who make the paint on, rust preventative finish for an exhaust system, it will soon be falling off. Any of you guys ever hear of VHT ( Very High Temperature ) exhaust paint? It still falls off---- Why? Simple the heat of the pies, causes the paint to become extremely brittle, and it just flakes off. The only two ways to prevent an exhaust system from rusting are; (A) Ceramic coat them (B) have the pipes made out of stainless. That's it---- There is no other realistic options, other than spinning your wheels and painting them pipes, and watch it flake off--- Later, |
