My head was crushed up againt the roof, to the point I couldn't hold it up straight. My legs were forced off to the side at such an angle that it would be impossible for me to operate the pedals. In short, there is no way that I could operate this vehicle. >> I sent the measurements since its most easy to compare the passenger areas as they are similar. Yes, the leg room in front is restricted and I'll take your word for the headroom. I'm not 6'10" so I have no problems up there. Someone else posted the comparison of total cubic feet and they both are about equal. Behind the rear bench is tons of storage space. The MV models have lots of storage under the rear cushion and the rear bench. The bench storage is difficult to access, but there is a cool pull out shelf available from Reimo in Germany that makes access easy. There seems to be a lot of misinformation on this list about the EuroVan. I've liked every VW van I've ever driven or ridden in. I can understand Vanagon owners that like their vehicle, I just can't understand this hatred for the EuroVan. If this list is still around in 10 years, I'll bet the address will have changed to eurovan@gerry.eurovan.com and the vintage bus list will change from vintagebus@type2.com to vintagevanagon@type3.com Steve Lashley SKL Enterprises Inc. http://EuroCampers.com 636-797-9015 636-789-2127 fax |
