Hey All, Just got off the phone with my buddy, at the local VW dealer-- It seems as though a 96 Eurovan appeared for a brake job last Tuesday--- It needs it all--rotor's, pads, caliper's, and some kind of sensor's--- Well guess what--no caliper's--have to come from California, rotor's from some other warehouse, pads--none in the Chicago area, have to come from way out yonder, and the electronic sensor's from Germany--the Fatherland. The gentleman with the Eurovan won't see his ride until next week sometime. My friend is the parts manager, and is livid, as the customer is pissed, and climbing all over everybody at VW. Now here is the real joke----- If a dealer wants his allocation, or more of any given model of VW, they have to take---like a mandatory thing--7 Eurovan's per year----and they can't sell the toilet's, and now VW can't even supply the parts for the unpopular, over priced rat's---- Yea, I need a Eurovan----so when I need parts,I can sit a week or two--or three---- What a joke---- Later, ______________ |[ ] [ ] [ ]\ | | | | ~~~ ~||-(())----(())-| Terry-- "Zoom, Zoom, Zoom" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ |
