Hi all, Within a week of each other, my temp and fuel gauge stopped working ('82 diesel). I read here that both gauges go through the voltage stabilizer, so my first step was to look at that... I had a new one here as both gauges were moving around quite a bit before that, and I was going to replace it anyway. When you look at the stabilizer, there are 3 prongs on the "E" looking thing. Only the two outside prongs attach to anything... did the middle prong used to attach to something, or does that just sit in free space? If it used to attach to something, does that just "rattle off", and would this explain my gauges not working? Any other explanations? Sorry if this is way off base. Thanks, Chris |
