Subject: Harness Fire Ending!
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"

I am heading south Friday. I pulled a harness from another 87 today and swapped it...what a pain in the a**! I was a bit worried when I fired it up, but Pooh is once again purring. The old harness was just too far gone to splice. I tried to reach Ron at the Bus depot to get the low down on the white wires and if they were universal and could be wired either way. They would not give me to him, but after asking the to check with bosch, the word back is that it does not matter which white wire goes where, just the signal wire (black) must be spliced to the black in the harness. In the process I purchased the bus I took the harness from, an 87 Wolfsburg that has a very nice interior. It hasn't been run since the front end was smacked, but I am told it ran well prior to the accident. The auto Tranny was rebuilt. So when I get back from FL at the end of the month I will have some parts to sell. Mail me if anyone is looking for anything. Finn Runyon 87 Westy, Pooh
