The front bearings were inspected when you got your ball joints installed, they probably greased then too. They are OK. The CV are about new, don't suspect them. It could something as simple as a weak motor mount letting the exhaust touch the body or torque the drive train badly. It could be that dead cat I tied to your shift linkage about two days ago.
