Subject: Tire posting
Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed

Don't worry not the same old tire question... Several weeks ago someone mentioned gettting tires at Wal-mart size 28-8.5x14 (I think) from a brand I don't remember but he claims they were made by Michelin. I think they were $50.00 a piece. Anybody still have that post or the info? I dumped mine and of course blew out the side wall in my right front tire last night. The other 3 are crap so I gotta do what I gotta do. If I have to pop for some more expensive ones than thats fine. I'm just tired of some dork at the tire store telling me, "they don't come any taller than 205/14's"...I couldn't stand stupidity anymore. I told the salesman he didn't know his ass from his elbow (yes, the whole store heard me), then I showed him right in HIS paperwork the various sizes and associated heights. WOW, lookie there Vern, a 225/70-14! That's bigger, ain't it????? Only the dealer is worse to deal with.... Sorry for venting

Thanks

TJ 87 Syncro
