I had too hard of a day to go through the Bentley to get some kind of definitive answer, but when I relubed a Volvo manual rack some years ago I used the specific Volvo rack grease. It was expensive with the Volvo label on it, something like $15 for a 12 oz. toothpaste tube of the stuff and it seemed suspiciously like Lubriplate white break-in grease. So, in other words, I don't know if you can use wheel bearing grease.
