Back in my upholstery shop days, I installed inflatable lumbar supports in my friend's '66 camper and in my own '86 Honda Civic Wagon. I don't recall the brand name, but I know it wasn't Recaro. There were two varieties: a single valve model with a single, pleated air chamber and one with three seperate chambers, each with their own release valve, for "optimizing the shape." I recommend the single valve variety. It's cheaper, less fussy, and works better. Any auto upholstery shop should be able to get these from one of their suppliers. Cost: roughly $40-$80 a piece, if memory serves, and worth it, IMO.
