I have two cylinder head temp gauges that came with the van when I bought it ( new and unattached). I attached one yesterday to the #3 cylinder and it works fine. Functionally, is there any benefit from putting the other one on the right cylinder? I know it would give more information yet I want to add an oil pressure gauge and currently there are 3 VDO gauges in the van (voltmeter, oil temp, and now one cylinder temp gauge). It seems the interior is getting cluttered with gauges and looks geeky. Want are you opinions?

also what is the ideal cruising temperature for my 82 Westy (air cooled of course)

tim
