Subject: 91 Westfalia 4 switches, only one dome lite
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

New proud owner of meticulously kept 91 full Westfalia with 89000 miles is puzzled: there are four rubber encased switches in the door frames at 1. driver side, 2. passenger side, 3. sliding door, 4. the rear hatch. Only the first two activate the drivers side dome light. The pantry light does not seem wired into the switches either and has no three way setting. What is the idea here? Do I have a wiring problem, fuse problem or are the switches wired to something else (alarm system?) or nothing? Secondly has anyone with a Westfalia ever installed a dome light into the ventilation air channel above the sliding door. I got two lights at a Pick and Pull from a passenger van that I like to install there and above the rear hatch (engine) in the A/C encasement. I already read the list on installing a dome light above the passenger seat. Can anyone enlighten me?
