Subject: tiico owners in california
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Dear listees. I am, as others on this list, a happy owner of the tii inline four. as everyone knows, we were sold the engine with the promise that it would pass smog. i have spoken with peter repeatedly, and on his word he is in the process of getting the engine CARBed. fact of the matter is how long this will take, and we the owners of this conversion, although pleased with it, don't want to get stuck with fines, etc. So, could all the california owners email me directly, or give me their version of the story, i would like to know what others are doing, have done, or are planning on doing. If you are a non tiico owner i would appreciate it if you did not email me or add more banter to the list on this subject, this is our problem, not yours. thanks. Chris D'Amico 89 Tiico weekender
