If you're not sure where your particular browser is cacheing its files, you can just enter the link to the file you want.

http://www.busdepot.com/carhorn.wav

Internet explorer will play this in whatever the default multimedia application is. You can most likely just do a File > Save As and save your file.

Netscape will launch this in it's own little sound window. Do a right mouse click and select Save As.

Isn't that assuming that you are running Internet Explorer? I don't believe that directory is valid for Netscape or the other browsers. (And also assuming that you have not changed the temporary directory in your Internet Settings.)
