I've been trying to subscribe to vwdiesel-request@vwfans.com but keep
getting errors, even when trying to contact the administrator.  This is
nothing new for me as it took 2 weeks for me to get set up with vanagon list
posts.

Anyway, if someone reading this is also on the vwdiesel list, would you mind
posting this message there for me - hopefully someone will read it and let
me know what the problem might be.
