I've just rebuilt a syncro tranny and have the option to go GL-5 if it makes sense.

If it's just been rebuilt, why not start off right and fill up with Redline MT 90 to start with. I've been using the stuff for years. sure has solved some of my tranny maintenance problems. Have not had one whit of trouble since switching to MT 90. Had lots of shifting problems before the change over.

I have an 88 GL.
