I did this/do this with the BD hitch and modifications I put into the archives years ago. I run a Honda XL500S comfortably on a motorcycle rack that goes on a receiver hitch that I had made up to bolt on the BD hitch plate. Also use a hitch mount for four bicycles if I'm not carrying the motorcycle. My reserve gas can in the spare tire well provides the juice for the Honda on a long wilderness stit. Added about 10 psi to the rear when carrying the motorcycle. The motorcycle carrier includes the ramp. Works like a champ. Seriously reduces tailgating!
