There wouldn't be any problem pumping a 2.0 liter to 150 HP. I have a 2.0 here that we pumped up to 2800 cc and dynoed out at just over 200 horses in off-road race trim. That means a lot of torque and power all the way through the power band up to about 6000 rpm where it red lines and it's built to last even under the stress of off-road racing. It is completely streetable. We could get much more power out of it if it were built for drag racing where you can use a narrow power band. BTW, It is now common in off road racing to have about 130 horses in a type 1 engine with 1776 cc and a single Webber carb. The power would go up if the rules allowed the use of two carbs. The power band is fairly narrow and they crank up to about 7000 rpm but they stay together to win races. It does cost a lot of money to build these engines though. 1776cc class 12 engines were the reason I built a aftermarket case.
