Hi Jon,

Yes a block heater is very nice. Your new friend does have a freeze plug to use. I had mine installed in Montana. The shop had a book which recomended the proper block heater to use. They installed it in less than 30 min. The total parts and labor were $50.00.

-40 , turning the key and fires up with the heater blowing heat first thing. Get the picture :-) --
