Badgering us into a response? Look, you did the research. You have determined that it's not a leak in the coolant system. You know what it's gonna cost to have the heads rebuilt vs. new heads that may or may not be any better. You don't know what the bottom end looks like. So the reality is, if you want to rebuild, plan on it costing you an antire rebuild and if you get out of it cheap, you're gold. Or, just get Boston Bob or AVP to sell you a quality rebuild and sleep well at night. WE can't make the decision for you. We all look at our finances and decide what's best for our vans. In my case, in a similar situation, I bought an engine from Van-again (pulled from a transplant project). It's had it's issues, but 15,000 miles later, it's still running strong. I still think about rebuilding the original one, but that's low on the time priorities.

Anyhowz, none of us like to be badgered. And yes, thr BS posts get a lot of attention around here You learn to live with it.
