I removed my back windscreen to take care of that pesky under gasket rust. When I removed it, I peeled out the plastic spline, and worked the gasket out from the top down, pushing the window out, and pulling the gasket inside. It was a real chore. I know I'm going to have a time getting it back in. I have (on other vehicles) used a cord to pull the lip of the gasket around the glass. I'm wondering, do you install the gasket -and- the spline -then- the glass? Is it best done from the inside -or- the outside? Is it best to start at the top -or - the bottom?
