Screw fill fitting onto valve. Push button (with red vinyl cover) in flat. Open small bleed valve *all the way* -- gas will vent. Start fill. If things are working right, tank will fill to 80% point -- liquid will start coming from bleed valve and filling will stop. If no fill, push red button again. Once liquid starts bleeding, shut off bleed valve, shut off and disconnect fill hose. If things are *not* working right, general best course is to replace AutoStop valve with manual 1 3/4" Acme fill valve and manual bleed valve. Under $50 total. david |
