OK, I am confused. On a Syncro, there is a tube and a plastic "catch basin" before the filter housing that catches dirt and water. Before that is a snorkle that reaches up into the rear pillar, and helps give the Syncro its fording height. So on a syncro, it goes like this: | | snorkle | | | | [afm]==[air filter]==[trap]==[ ] My question is does it eliminate everything aft of the air filter? (in other words terminate at the air filter and draw air from the engine compartment). Thanks! Brent >From: "andrewbell" <andrewbell@qwest.net> >The K&N does not replace everything. It might seem like a good idea, but >you >want cool air to get to the engine, ie. via the air vent on the outside. >Also, >it'll help if you go through some deep water... >
