Nah - I think some would drive big SUV's if they could but most of the folks I talked to didn't want to maneuver something as big as our domestic SUV through traffic, pay for gas, insurance, taxes, etc. The US spec cars we had over there were not favored because their performance - overall performance - was looked down on. I'm talking about handling and brakes in addition to straight line speed. Miss that place. Was the best 3 years of my bachelor life. Hoping to take the family and move back for a few more years someday. Alot of nice cars and such over there that would be wonderful to have over here too but corporate America won't allow them here - based on statements like - safety, glass, crash protection when in fact the Europeans lead the US carmakers in some of those departments. Brainwashing is all it is. Yes the market for them would be soft but I think given the opportunity to have them the markets would open up as time passed.
