Subject: [WetWesties] Looking for feedback and maybe 90 Westy for sale...
Hey All,
We are finally finishing up our house project. As usual it has gone
way over budget. Anyway to help off set some of the budget deficit we
are thinking
of selling our 90 Westy Multi Van. That is even hard for me to type.
Our thinking is we only use the pop top about 6 - 8 times a year
and we can probably find a non-pop top Syncro or late model
Carat/Wolfsburg for about half the value of our Westy. The extra
money
could really come in handy towards the house. The really hard thing
to let go of is that our Westy only has 62,000 miles on it and it
runs and drives better than any vanagon I have been in. It does have
a rebuild title but we have had no problems with this vehicle in
the time we have owned it. I am guessing it to be worth around
$14,000. Does this seem realistic? Are we nuts to consider letting
this
rig go? I have been trying to get myself to write this message for 3
days now and I still can't believe we are even thinking of selling
it. I
know I am asking for simple hand holding and opinions but this is
even harder than deciding about selling my 57 23 Window.
thanks in advance for any input,
Craig
