If using passenger tires in a truck application, you have to reduce the load index by 10% So for a 1500 lb rated passenger tire on a truck, the rating is actually 1350lbs If using passenger tires, I'd say use the 215/70-14 size with a load index of 96. look for 2-ply sidewalls, 4 ply tread, and max psi of 44.
