FWIW the propane thing has been covered in the literature. BUT, the Manchester is an auto shitoff er shutoff valve that corrodes and malfunctions with age, kinda like Joel and Bulley and I. So using your favorite hugemongous channel lock pliers, hold the pushbutton down while you fill. Use a bit of rubber on the jaws of the pliers to avoid damaging the red part of the valve. This ought to do it. The knob on the right is loosened to show when liquid propane reaches the proper level (filled). When you get visible propane, stop filling and close the knob valve, release the pliers, put the cap back on. Pay the paki, smile and travel on. pensioner |
