Last year when I used my bus to get my racing gear to a couple races, I was doing over 75 the whole way (mostly 80) and I think I saw 18.3 mpg at one point. But this was while "drafting" behind a friend's large trailer. Then again, on the trip back, I was on my own doing 75-80 and saw 18.8 mph, if I recall correctly. I have a 1984 GL manual 1.9 WBX. This year, I will have different tires, so I'll be interested to see if the reinforced sidewalls/different rolling resistance of my new Agilis will affect my mileage.
