Folks, Am about to buy a set of 4 tires for my '87 Westy Tiico with stock 14' steel wheels. Will get either: Bridgestone 603V: 185/0-14 lr D 1,855 lbs @ 65psi 25.7 " diamter 811 rpm or Kumho 852 Commercial A/S 185 14C lr D 25.6" diameter 814rpm or Kumho 852 Commercial A/S 205 14C lr D 27.0" diameter 772rpm
The prices are more or less the same: about $360 including everything except road hazard, which I'm gonna do without. Can anybody recommend any of these over the others? What are the pros and cons of getting the 205 vs. the 195 width? For asthetic reasons I'd prefer a tire with a larger diameter, but I'm flexible if there's a compelling reason to go with the skinnier ones. My speedo reads 805, but would my Tiico change that? It'd be nice to get an accurate speedo reading on the highway.
TIA for any comments.
